<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound volume control device which enables listening of speech in a proper sound volume corresponding to a speech output device connected to an output terminal when the output terminal is used in common by a plurality of types of speech output devices, and to provide a display device equipped with the sound volume control device. <P>SOLUTION: The sound volume control device is configured to select one of a plurality of sound volumes corresponding to a first speech output device 51 and a second speech output device 52 to be connected to the output terminal 5. Consequently, even when the second speech output device 52 and the first speech output device 51 emitting a sound volume smaller than that of the second speech output device 52 use the output terminal 5 in common, an excessive sound volume is not emitted from the first speech output device 51, which avoids excessive burden onto user's drum membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
