<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to determine more accurately whether or not the vehicle in question travels on an expressway not registered in map data. <P>SOLUTION: When radio wave is received from a radio wave beacon provided on an expressway with the aid of a radio wave beacon receiver 27 and the matching likelihood calculated by a control device 28 is under the threshold for determining an unregistered expressway, the control device 28 determines that the vehicle in question travels on an expressway not registered in map data and quits the route guidance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
