COMPLEX PARTICLE FOR IMMUNOCHROMATOGRAPHY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide complex particles for immunochromatography with which not only absorbed light but also fluorescence can be detected by immunochromatography, no drop of the intensity of the absorbed light occurs and the detection of target substances can be sufficiently performed even by visual inspection, visual inspection is possible when a certain amount of target substances is included in specimen while target substances can be detected using a more sensitive device when determination based on light absorbing properties of target particles is impossible because the amount of the target substances is minute.

SOLUTION: Complex particles for immunochromatography include a structure in which the outside of fine particles made from metal is covered with at least one layer of silica containing at least one fluorescence substance, and fine particles whose surface is modified with indicator substances enabling specific identification of target substances.
