<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and compact cooling apparatus for a servo amplifier for an injection molding machine that exerts sufficient cooling capacity while providing serviceability. <P>SOLUTION: A heat sink 30 is made up of a metal cooling plate 31 to which a servo amplifier (E, K, or S) is mounted and a plurality of metal fins 32 which are provided on the other surface of the cooling plate 31 vertically against the other surface. Cooling air is blown vertically against the surface of the cooling plate 31 on which fins 32 are provided. This allows for cooling with a small amount of cooling air. At this point of time, a gas cyclone 2 removes dust contained in cooling air. The employment of the gas cyclone 2 provides a low-cost cooling apparatus while almost eliminating the necessity for maintenance/inspection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
