EXCESSIVE CABLE LENGTH PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING EXCESS CABLE LENGTH PORTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excess cable length processing device for practically preventing a cable from being twisted in an excess length portion when the excess length portion is provided in the cable, and provide a method for processing the excess length portion of the cable.

SOLUTION: The excess cable length processing device is fixed at a predetermined height onto a support structure body that supports a cable, and used for processing an excess length portion of the cable. The device includes two winding portions 2 and 3, both of which are capable of winding and accommodating excess cable length portions, and a connecting portion 4 for connecting the winding portions 2 and 3 so as to freely open and close the winding portions 2 and 3 in which an excess cable length portion is wound around one winding portion 2 clockwise whereas another excess cable length portion is wound around another winding portion 3 counterclockwise. The winding portions 2 and 3 can be closed so as to face each other.
