A tire comprising a plurality of springs (310) is disclosed. Each spring (310) comprises a first end portion, a second end portion, and an arching middle portion and is interwoven with at least one other spring thereby forming a toroidal structure extending about an entire circumference of the tire (300, 600). The toroidal structure being at least partially coated with or embedded into an elastomer (550). The tire is preferably a non-pneumatic tire. Also, a method of manufacturing such a tire (300, 600) is disclosed. |
