The system (2) has an optical element formed as a base body e.g. circular cylinder (7) and a truncated cone, including a circular base surface (9) and an outer surface (11) adjacent to the base surface. The base and outer surfaces are formed as transmission surfaces for laser beam in sections. The base body comprises a section with a mantle surface (15) that is formed as a reflection surface for the laser beam. Another optical element e.g. collimating lens (17), is integrated into the base and outer surfaces of the base body and/or the mantle surface.
