<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional video apparatus that eliminates a problem of shortage of electricity. <P>SOLUTION: In the multifunctional video apparatus, a main power source includes a double-pendulum rechargeable battery that can constantly generate electricity semi-permanently, and a subsidiary power generator is provided with a silicon solar panel 27 having a plurality of colors and including a light hydrogen. As for a recording medium, double-sided MD19 is adopted. The multifunctional video apparatus includes a two-screen display including liquid crystal displays A23, B24. The display A may be switched to the display B while viewing both of a video received via a portable video wave antenna 2 and a video being recorded. The videos can be synthesized to be a photo. Battery usage of the main power source can be stored in a magnetic card 8 that may be referred to as a battery usage consumption tax card. The apparatus includes a satellite GPS79 such that it can be returned to its original place full-automatically.
