<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and high-rigidity handle of a fishing reel having a high specific strength and a high specific rigidity, and allowing enhancement of the strength, particularly in a hole part region where caulking is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: A handle arm 31 is formed by laminating prepreg sheets made of a carbon-fiber reinforced resin along the thickness direction thereof. All of a plurality of interlayers 70 laminated between surface layers 60 and 61 on both sides forming a first surface 50 and a second surface 51 on the opposite side accompanying the caulking comprise unidirectional layers obtained by parallelling fibers in one direction. The thickness of the whole first unidirectional layers 70A obtained by parallelling the fibers nearly parallel to the longitudinal direction L of the handle arm 31 is the largest in the thickness of the whole unidirectional layers 70. The second unidirectional layers 70B in which the fibers form an angle of nearly 90° to the longitudinal direction L of the handle arm 31 near at least the hole part where the caulking is carried out are disposed more on the side of the first surface 50 than on the side of the second surface 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
