<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic system capable of obtaining two-dimensional data while enhancing resolving power in a depth direction. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscopic system is constituted so as to image a target by return light from a target to which irradiation light is applied and equipped with an irradiation part for irradiating the target with irradiation light containing light of a first wavelength region, which invades into the target up to a first penetration distance, and light of a second wavelength region, which invades into the target up to a second penetration distance, an optical system for condensing the first return light from a position separated from the surface of the target by the first penetration distance along the irradiation direction of the light of the first wavelength region and the second return light from a position separated from the surface of the target by the second penetration distance along the irradiation direction of the light of the second wavelength region to positions almost the same in an optical axis direction and a light receiving part for receiving the first return light and the second return light condensed by the optical system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
