The case has a first compartment (1) for receiving a portable electronic device (A), and a second compartment (2) for receiving a boosting battery (B), where the case is made of thermally-insulating material. An electric connection unit (C) i.e. cable, connects the battery to the device. The compartments are arranged one on another and separated by a common wall. A third compartment (5) of a flap (4) receives the unit. The flap is fixed to an outer face (6) of the second compartment by a tab (7) i.e. VELCRO(RTM: Hook and loop fastener) type fixation elements or a press button.
