PURPOSE: A socket welding unit apparatus for adjusting a gap is provided to minutely adjust a gap by numerically confirming the transfer position of a moving body while installing an adjusting device in one end of a pipe. CONSTITUTION: A socket welding unit apparatus for adjusting a gap comprises a main body(10), a cover(20), a nut hole(31), a guide groove(13), a moving body(40), a base(50) and a adjusting bolt(60). In the main body, a wing unit(11) is formed into the left and right side into the symmetrical form and the fastening bolt(30) of a regular length is respectively combined in the wing unit. The cover is detached with the main body in the back side through a fastening bolt and an install groove(21) is formed in the either side. The nut hole is combined in the back-side in order to press the fastening bolt. A screw-hole(14) is formed in the middle part while the guide groove is formed in the front end of the main body into the upward and downward.
