Disclosed is a railway track covering which comprises a covering element (7) arranged at rail level between the rails (3) of the track and also comprises covering element (8) adjoining the rails on the outside. The covering elements (7, 8) are provided at their edges (10) facing the rails with supporting members (9) which are used to support these covering elements on the rails. The supporting members are mounted on said covering elements so as to be displaceable in the rail longitudinal direction. At least two supporting members are arranged displaceably on each edge of the covering elements that faces a rail of the track. Preferably, the supporting members are mounted so as to be displaceable in the rail longitudinal direction and so as to be pivotable about a geometric axis which is parallel to the direction of displacement. |
