PURPOSE: An LED lighting apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent chemical erosion by forming an erosion layer on the lower part of a radiation metal layer. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting diode(140) is formed on a printed circuit board(100) and performs a light emitting operation. A controller(120) is formed on the printed circuit board and is electrically connected to the light emitting diode. A water proof coating layer(200) is formed in the front side of the printed circuit board. The water proof coating layer protects the light emitting diode and the controller. A radiation metal layer(220) faces the water proof coating layer and performs a radiating operation.
