PURPOSE: Chitosan-tripolyphosphate(TPP) nano-particles and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to adjust the size of chitosan nano-particles and to reduce the coagulating phenomenon of the chitosan nano-particles by changing a homogenizing condition, an organic solvent, and a cross-linking agent in a nano-emulsion manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing chitosan-tripolyphosphate nano-particles includes the following: A solution, in which a material to be collected in dichloromethane is dissolved, is applied to aqueous chitosan solution. An oil-in-water emulsion is formed by stirring and homogenizing the chitosan solution. The oil-in-water emulsion is mixed and reacted with TPP as a cross-linking agent. Dichloromethane is eliminated. The concentration of the aqueous chitosan solution is between 1.0 and 10.0%(w/v). The material to be collected in dichloromethane is s-allylcysteine, lycopene, beta-carotene, ellagic acid, anthocyanin, genistein, glutathione, and capsaicin. |
