The vehicle has a container (10) containing an electric battery (13) and forming a case that includes a cover (12) and a bag (11). A support container (14) receives the battery, and is arranged between the case and the battery. The support container forms a folded sheet plate made of aluminum, and comprises edges (15) extending along an axis, where the edges are folded toward an outer side to form housings. The container is arranged in the bag with a parallelepiped cross-piece extending along an axis orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a container of a battery of a vehicle.
