The invention discloses a method for fabricating battery positive electrode plate, and a positive electrode paste. The method comprises the following steps: (1) processing a cold-rolled plate to an expanded steel mesh, and applying a Ni layer on the outer surface; (2) mixing and stirring the following components at the weight ratio to obtain a paste: H2O:1% CMC:1% PMMA:CoO:C powder:Ni(OH)2:4%PTFT is equal to (16 to 18):(1.5 to 2.5):(1.5 to 2.5):(1.5 to 5.0):(3 to 15):(80 to 95.5):(0.5 to 1.5); (3) applying the paste on the expanded steel mesh; (4) drying and rolling; and (5) cutting the positive electrode plate into pieces by a cutting machine. The mesh holes of the expanded steel mesh have a maximal diagonal distance of 1.0 to 3.5 mm, and a minimal diagonal distance of 0.5 to 1.5 mm. The addition of the hydrophilic 1% PMMA in the paste can improve the product stability to prevent the positive electrode powder from cracking and dropping in the drying process. The expanded steel mesh is adopted as the base material and has the advantages of low cost and simple manufacture process. |
