<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver in which an increase in the number of external components is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver includes an antenna element 10 that gets a radio signal in the air, a front end circuit 30 that is connected to the antenna element 10 and signal processes a reception signal RS outputted from the antenna element 10, shunt resistors R11 to R14 that are connected in parallel at a connection point of the antenna element 10 and the front end circuit 30, and switch elements S11 to S14 that control conductive states of the respective shunt resistors R11 to R14. The receiver further includes an SAGC circuit 20 that attenuates the reception signal RS by impedance of the antenna element 10 and the shunt resistors R11 to R14, and a control circuit 52 that controls the switch elements S11 to S14 to turn on/off based on the magnitude of the reception signal RS and controls the attenuation of the reception signal RS by the SAGC circuit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
