<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing unit for supporting wheels with a physical quantity measuring device that includes a first encoder 2a and first sensors 3c and 3d for measuring an axial load acting between an outer ring 4a and a hub 5a, and prevents erroneous detection and deterioration of pulse output waveform shapes of the first sensors 3c and 3d due to lowering of detection magnetic flux density of the first sensors 3c and 3d even when magnetic foreign substances attach and deposit on a detection object surface of the first encoder 2a. <P>SOLUTION: A wiping member 31 for wiping the magnetic substances attached or deposited on a magnetic encoder is arranged at a position facing the detection object surface of the first encoder 2a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
