<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element that achieves high quality display. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display element comprises: a first transparent substrate on which a segment electrode pattern including a display part and multiple drawing lines is formed; a second transparent substrate on which a common electrode pattern including a display part and a dummy electrode pattern formed so as to straddle in plan view the multiple drawing lines in at least a part of the region are formed; and a liquid crystal layer held between the first and the second transparent substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
