<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle terminal enabled to increase the possibility of successfully finishing pairing processing between a portable terminal and the in-vehicle terminal. <P>SOLUTION: In a case of performing pairing (registering) to a portable terminal 16 of an in-vehicle hands-free system 10, an in-vehicle terminal 12 starts a search mode (an active search mode) for searching the portable terminal 16 (BT phone) from the in-vehicle terminal 12 when the portable terminal 16 detects a trigger for starting the pairing processing. Further, the in-vehicle terminal 12 proceeds to a standby mode (passive pairing mode) for waiting for a search from the portable terminal 16 if the portable terminal 16 does not detect the trigger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
