<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for inserting a workpiece capable of preventing contact between a cylindrical body and the workpiece, and appropriately inserting the workpiece into the cylindrical body. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an installation section 3 on which the cylindrical body 2 can be loaded in such a manner that an opening 2a of the cylindrical body 2 is located sideways; an auxiliary insertion carriage 4 moving to the opening 2a of the cylindrical body 2; and an insertion carriage 6 loaded on the auxiliary insertion carriage 4 and moving from the auxiliary insertion carriage 4 to the inside of the cylindrical body 2 while holding the workpiece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
