<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply device preventing easy movement of a shutter member for opening/closing a toner discharge opening with a toner container being a single body and, when the toner container is mounted/demounted with respect to the toner supply device, allowing the shutter member to surely open/close the toner discharge opening in conjunction with the mounting/demounting operation of the toner container; and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This toner supply device includes: a stopper release energizing section 72b coming into contact with a stopper release section of a shutter member 32d in conjunction with the mounting operation of a toner container 32Y and applying an external force thereto from the lower part; and a pressing member 72c, while being engaged with a pressing rail 34n2 of a cap section 34Y in conjunction with the mounting operation of the toner container 32Y, energizing the cap section 34Y from the side. When the stopper release energizing section 72b comes into contact with the stopper release section in conjunction with the mounting operation of the toner container 32Y, the pressing member 72c is engaged with the pressing rail 34n2 to regulate upward movement of the cap section 34Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
