PURPOSE: A cooking device is provided to rapidly cook food since as a plate contains an aluminum material, heat from a lower heating unit is easily transferred to the plate. CONSTITUTION: A cooking device comprises a housing(103), an upper heating unit(111), a lower heating unit(113), a plate, and a lever. The upper heating unit is arranged on a cavity to supply heat to the cavity(102). The lower heating unit is arranged on the lower part of the cavity to supply heat to the cavity. The plate is formed in the cavity and receives heat from the upper and lower heating units to cook food. The plate is movably formed between the upper and lower heating units. The lever is exposed to the housing and is connected to the plate. The lever operates the plate to vertically move between the upper and lower heating units.
