PURPOSE: A novel oligomycin derivative is provided to ensure antibacterial activity to Saccharomyces cerevisiae and to be used as antibiotics. CONSTITUTION: An oligomycin derivative is denoted by chemical formula 1. The oligomycin derivative is prepared by bioconversion by Streptomyces venezuelae from oligomycin A. A method for preparing the oligomycin derivative comprises: a step of culturing Streptomyces venezuelae in a medium containing oligomycin A; a step of extracting the culture liquid with ethyl acetate(EtOAc); a step of concentrating the organic extract under a vacuum condition; and a step of dissolving residues with methanol(MeOH) and isolating by chromatography. An antibiotic composition contains the oligomycin derivative or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
