<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately and easily measuring the moisture content of skin by Raman spectroscopy. <P>SOLUTION: The measuring method for the skin moisture content includes: a process of measuring the Raman spectrum of at least one type of model lipid; a process of measuring the Raman spectrum of a skin sample; a process of obtaining the corrected Raman spectrum in which the amount contributed by the model lipid in the Raman spectrum of the at least one type of the model lipid is deducted from the Raman spectrum of the skin sample; and a process of measuring the skin moisture content in the corrected Raman spectrum based on the ratio of signal strength derived from CH stretching vibration of protein and the signal strength derived from OH stretching vibration of water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
