<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure rice cooker that is provided with two pressure valves for adjusting the pressure inside a pot to cook rice. <P>SOLUTION: The pressure rice cooker is provided for cooking rice by increasing the pressure inside the pot higher than atmospheric pressure. The pressure rice cooker includes a controller that is provided with a memory unit for memorizing a rice cooking program. The memory unit memorizes the selection of pressure valves and the frequency and time for opening the valves in a boiling maintaining step according to the content of rice to be cooked in the pot. The controller includes: a valve selecting/operating unit for retrieving, from the memory unit, the selection of one of the two pressure valves or both of the pressure valves according to the content of rice to be cooked determined by a content determination unit in the boiling maintaining step, and putting the selected valve in operation; and a valve-opening frequency/time controlling unit for retrieving, from the memory unit, the opening frequency and time of the selected pressure valve by the valve selecting/operating unit, and controlling the opening frequency and the opening time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
