<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of such as degradation of discharge reliability of a head, degradation of a recording speed, and an increase in power consumption so as to suppress curling of a recorded medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a first roller 201 of which a rotation shaft is arranged along a direction intersecting a paper sheet conveying direction, and a second roller 202 arranged on an upstream side of the paper sheet conveying direction of the first roller 201. Projections 210 are formed on surfaces of the first roller 201 and the second roller 202 at predetermined pitches. The pitch in a rotation direction of the projections 210 of the first roller 201 is larger than that in an axial direction. The pitch in an axial direction of the projections 210 of the second roller 202 is larger than that in a rotation direction.
