<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip carrier device which is improved in recovery of cutting oil, is reduced in conveying resistance, and prevents chip clogging. <P>SOLUTION: The chip carrier device 10 includes a screw 21 conveying the chips to the downstream side of the conveying direction by a rotary operation, a screw carrier device 20 having a casing 22 housing the screw 21 and formed with an introducing opening 23 for introducing the chips discharged from a machining center, and a discharge pipe 29 which is connected to the downstream end in the conveying direction of the screw carrier device 20, and whose inner diameter is made larger toward the downstream side. The chip carrier device 10 is configured to dispose the screw carrier device 20 and discharge pipe 29 to be higher toward the downstream side in the conveying direction in a tilted manner, and to provide a chip housing box 30 which is extended upward from the casing 22 at the downstream part in the conveying direction of the screw carrier device 20 and communicates with the inside of the casing. Thus, the conveying resistance of the chips of the downstream side in the conveying direction is reduced and chip clogging can be prevented without increasing the scale of the chip carrier device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
