<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method that facilitates maintaining a machining accuracy when a cutting tool is replaced. <P>SOLUTION: This cutting method includes: a rough machining step (step S5) after replacing the cutting tool; a calculation step (step S7) for calculating a difference between a rough machining dimension of a workpiece after the rough machining step and a predetermined final machining dimension; a temporary machining allowance setting step (step S8) for setting a temporary machining allowance by verifying a calculated value with a first database; an additional machining step (step S9) for performing an additional machining with the temporary machining allowance; a first measurement step (step S10) for measuring the final machining dimension of the workpiece after the additional machining step; and a first storing step (step S11) for storing the final machining dimension of the workpiece measured at the first measurement step and the temporary machining allowance in the database.
