The method involves determining expansion laws of an optical device (2) and an infrared detector (5) in repositories, where one of the laws indicates movement due to expansion based on temperature in the repository. A relative expansion law between the device and the detector is determined from the repositories. A mechanical connection unit (7) is determined, where the unit includes expansion properties to compensate relative expansion law in range of temperatures and a composite material element (10) adapted to obtain expansion properties. The unit is arranged on an optoelectronic system (1). An independent claim is also included for an athermalized optoelectronic system comprising an optical device. |
