<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter pipette tip capable of enhancing a barrier function, without disturbing pipetting. <P>SOLUTION: This filter pipette tip includes a small tube having, in one end, a large opening for attaching to a pipette, a small opening, in the other end, for passing a liquid, and a through channel between the large opening and the small opening, and a porous filter arranged in the through channel, for filling up one portion of the through channel. The filter includes at least two layers arranged in series along a direction of the through channel, a fine-porous layer out of the layers has 20 μm of pore size at maximum, a coarse-porous layer has 20 to 50 μm of pore size, the two layers are different in pore sizes, the fine-porous layer contains the first compressed plastic particles, the coarse-porous layer contains the second compressed plastic particles, and the fine-porous layer and the coarse-porous layer are sintered to form a filter body of one piece structure, in the filter pipette tip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
