[Object] To provide a lighting device and an illumination fixture using this, the lighting device being able to correspond to a plurality of 3D glasses each having a different shutter frequency and able to prevent the flicker from occurring in wearing of the 3D glasses. [Means for Settlement] A lighting device used in a space where a 3D glasses having a shutter for alternately shielding each transmissive surface of a pair of lenses at any one shutter frequency of plural types of shutter frequencies, includes: a step-down chopper circuit 3 for outputting a direct current I1 to a light source 6; and a control part 4 for turning on and off supply of the direct current I1 to the light source 6 at a predetermined PWM frequency, wherein the PWM frequency is an integral multiple of the least common multiple of the plural types of shutter frequencies.
