An update notification method and browser. The method includes: the browser monitors network resource dynamically (101); if the update of the network resource is found, the method will notify the user in a preset update notification manner (102). As the update notification method monitors the web page directly via the browser, it is able to monitor various kinds of network resources dynamically including the web page that do not support RSS output, and when the update of the network resource is found, the method will notify the user initiatively and timely in multiple manners. |
