PURPOSE: A CVVL(Continuous Variable Valve Lift) apparatus is provided to obtain high reproducibility and to reduce the torque of a driving motor by decreasing dynamic loads. CONSTITUTION: A CVVL apparatus comprises a cam shaft, a first cam, a second cam(60), an actuating shaft(30), an actuating lever(40), a swing arm(50), and a controller(70). The first cam is installed in the cam shaft. The actuating shaft is placed side by side with the cam shaft. The actuating lever is connected to the actuating shaft. The swing arm is rotatably coupled to the actuating lever and an engine. The second cam is pivotally connected to the swing arm. The second cam opens and closes a valve opening/closing unit by contacting with the first cam. The controller is connected to the actuating shaft, and moves the pivotal center of the swing arm with selectively rotating the actuating shaft.
