PURPOSE: A display device driving method is provided to rearrange a lighting period of a light source and a recording period of an image signal, thereby reducing display failure such as crosstalk between consecutive frames. CONSTITUTION: A first image signal of a first image is recorded in a first display region during a second sub frame period of a first frame period. A first light source corresponding to the first image signal is provided to the first display region. A second image signal of a second image is recorded in a second display region. A second light source corresponding to the second image signal is provided to the second display region during a first sub frame period of a second frame period.
