PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a pouch type secondary battery is provided to maximize sealing efficiency by reflecting structural properties of a pouch type secondary battery, thereby more improving insulating performance. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a pouch type secondary battery comprises: a step of mounting an assembly(300) to inner space, which is formed between the upper pouch and the lower pouches, in order to exposing a part of an electrode lead; and a step of thermosetting outer adhesion layers of the upper pouch and the lower pouch from each other, in order to make margin faked length(S) to be 5-8 times the thickness of whole adhesive layer of the upper pouch and the lower pouches. The margin faked length is a distance than the thermoset adhesion layer(250) is pushed toward the inner space, based ends parallelly conjugated in the inner space of the upper and the lower pouches.
