PURPOSE: A system and a method for combusting oil cokes is provided to prevent the air pollution by processing the combustion gas or combustion waste materials in separate exhaust gas processing units such as a dust collector, a denitrifier, and a desulfurizer. CONSTITUTION: A system for combusting oil cokes comprises a burner(15), a cleaning device, a boiler(17), a combusible air supplying unit(10), a post-processing unit, and a recycling tube(20). The burner comprises a pulverized coal supplying unit(11) and a bio-gas supplying unit(12). The cleaning device periodically removes unburned matters through a soot blow, thereby returning the unburned matters to a combusting furnace(16). The soot blow adopts a cleaning device using sound waves successively cleaning by every 5 to 30 minutes. The boiler is formed in an end part of the combusting furnace belching out flame of the burner, thereby generating steam vapor. The combusible air supplying unit supplies combusible air with bio-gas together by connecting a separate supplying pipe(13) to the bio-gas supplying unit.
