MANUFACTURING METHOD OF HERBAL EXTRACT/POWDER FOR PREVENTING PERIODONTAL DISEASE AND DENTAL CALCULUS, AND DENTIFRICE COMPOSITION USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for preparing crude drug extract and powder for suppressing periodontal diseases and a toothpaste composition using the same are provided to prevent and treat inflammation without side effect. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing crude drug extract for preventing periodontal diseases and suppress tartar comprises: a step of extracting a mixture of 20-25 wt% of Coptis chinensis Franoh, 20-25 wt% of Lycium chinense mill, 15-20 wt% of Tribulus terrestris L., 30-35 wt% of Taraxacum mongolicum Hand. Hazz, 4-7 wt% of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fei at 40-85°C for 1-5 hours; a step of adding 10-30g of calcium oxide and placing at 4-5°C for 12-24 hours; and a step of collecting supernatant and filtering.
