PURPOSE: An identification code conversion apparatus and a method thereof are provided to convert first identification code information into a second identification code and transmit the second identification code through a text message. CONSTITUTION: A first identification code recognition unit(101) recognizes a first identification code. The first identification code is existing identification codes. An identification code conversion unit(102) converts the recognized first identification code information into a second identification code. An SMS(Short Message Service) transmitting unit(103) transmits the generated second identification code through a text message.
