<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which is capable of sufficiently air-conditioning the inside of a room. <P>SOLUTION: An air conditioner of one embodiment 1 includes an air conditioning core 100. The air conditioning core 100 includes a Peltier device 7 of which one surface side becomes a heat absorbing surface or a heat radiating surface and of which the another surface side becomes a heat radiating surface or the heat absorbing surface, a first surface-side passage 9 provided at a side of one surface 7a of the Peltier device 7, and a second surface-side passage 10 provided at a side of the another surface 7b. Piping 17 through which first air-conditioning air for air-conditioning the inside of a room can flow is connected to the first surface-side passage 9. The second surface-side passage 10 has a first passage 11 and a second passage 13 which are adjacent to each other. Piping 21 through which cooling water as a heat exchange medium can flow is connected to the first passage 11.
