<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly hold a steel pipe pile or a tubular concrete pile without damaging the circularity of the steel pipe pile or the tubular concrete pile by improving a chuck device for the steel pipe pile. <P>SOLUTION: Two sets of holding mechanisms 6 and 7 are disposed to one chuck device 5. One holding mechanism 6 of the two sets includes a movable holding member 6b positioned on the outer side of the pipe wall of a steel pipe pile 4 and a fixed holding member 6a positioned on the inner side. The other holding mechanism 7 of the two sets includes a fixed holding member 7a positioned on the outer side of the pipe wall and a movable holding member 7b positioned on the inner side. Both movable holding members 6b and 7b pressurize the steel pipe pile 4 in the direction of an arrow f. Since both movable holding members 6b and 7b pressurize it toward the left part of the figure, the steel pipe pile 4 does not receive "pressurizing force in the form of crushing from both left and right sides" and the circularity is not damaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
