PURPOSE: A stopper for cooling water of a mold is provided to smoothly discharge cooling water by staying a stopper body in an inlet of a cooling water pipe. CONSTITUTION: A stopper for cooling water of a mold comprises a stopper body(100), a coupling pipe(200), a rubber ring(300), an expansion pipe(400), a hemispherical pressing ring(500), and a coupling screw(600). The stopper body is tightly inserted in a cooling water pipe of a mold. One end of the coupling pipe is inserted in the front end of a recessed groove of the stopper body. The coupling pipe has a mounting plane(210) in the outer circumference and a coupling part(220) in the inner circumference. The mounting plane is a curbed oblique plane and the coupling part is formed as female threads. The rubber ring is surface-contacted to the mounting plane and is tightly inserted in the cooling water pipe of the mold. Cut grooves(410) are formed along the outer circumference of one end of the expansion pipe at regular intervals. The other end of the expansion pipe is surface-contacted to the rubber ring. The pressing ring is inserted in one end of the expansion pipe. While the coupling screw is tightened to press the pressing ring, the expansion pipe and the rubber ring are expanded so that the expansion pipe and the rubber ring can be attached to the inner circumference of the cooling water pipe. |
