Provided is a method for controlling beam-forming. The method includes: acquiring a weight estimation resource of a system, acquiring the downlink traffic of a terminal and enabling or disabling beam-forming according to the weight estimation resource and the downlink traffic of the terminal. Also provided is a device for controlling beam-forming. The device includes an information acquisition unit and a judgment unit, wherein the information acquisition unit is configured to acquire a weight estimation resource of a system and the downlink traffic of a terminal; and the judgment unit is configured to enable or disable the beam-forming according to the weight estimation resource and the downlink traffic of the terminal. In the present invention, by selecting an appropriate terminal to enable BF, the BF gain is maximized, the utilization rate of the spectrum is improved, thus improving the throughput of the whole system. |
