<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate like antenna which does not easily deteriorate performance even when the antenna is incorporated in a housing of wireless equipment, and to provide the wireless equipment using the plate like antenna. <P>SOLUTION: A plate like antenna 100 includes a power feeding part 12 for electrically connecting with a feeder circuit and a ground part 14 for electrically connecting with a ground plate at an edge of a main surface 10.
