<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car wash capable of adjusting a brush contact pressure according to a vehicle type or parts of a vehicle body to be washed. <P>SOLUTION: The car wash includes: a brush moving means for contacting/separating a brush to/from the vehicle body; a brush motor rotatably driving a washing brush; a current detection means for detecting a current value of a brush motor; a control means for controlling the brush moving means so that the motor current value detected by the detection means is within upper/lower thresholds; and a storage means for storing an initial value of the upper/lower thresholds for each vehicle type or each part of the vehicle body to be washed. The car wash includes a threshold correction mechanism for correcting the initial value of the upper/lower thresholds stored in the storage means based on a coefficient which is set for each vehicle type or each part of the vehicle body, and the motor current value detected at a specific part of the vehicle body in a specific vehicle type. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
