<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch over with a minimum delay without interruption in a transmission switching device having an active and a standby system. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is such that a transmit-side uninterruptible switching device stores received and branched client signals in memory, controls the amount of client signals read from memory based on delay difference information acquired from a receive-side uninterruptible switching device, and accommodates the client signals read from memory in a transmission frame signal, and then outputs the resulting transmission frame signal to a transmission path. The receive-side uninterruptible switching device receives a transmission frame signal, decodes client signals from the received transmission frame signal, detects a difference in delay between a plurality of decoded client signals, and notifies the transmit-side uninterruptible switching device of information on a difference in delay between the detected active- and standby-system client signals. Then, based on the delay difference information, it selects one or plural client signals from the plurality of client signals and outputs the selected client signal(s) to the transmission path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
