SYNTHETIC RESIN EMULSION, RE-EMULSIFYING EMULSION POWDER, AND ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR WOODWORKING USING THE SYNTHETIC RESIN EMULSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for woodworking, which shows excellent adhesiveness and high material fracture ratio in conducting splitting strength evaluation, and to provide a synthetic resin emulsion useful for the adhesive composition.

SOLUTION: The synthetic resin emulsion is made by dispersing for stabilization, a synthetic resin (A) in a polyvinyl alcohol resin (B) having 1,2-diol bond on a side chain. The glass transition temperature of the synthetic resin (A) is -20°C or lower. The adhesive composition for woodworking mainly comprises the synthetic resin emulsion.
