PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device, an endoscope apparatus and a focus control method that control a bright spot.

SOLUTION: The control device 300 includes an image acquisition section and a focus control section. The image acquisition section acquires an image captured by an imaging section 200. The focus control section controls the imaging section 200 to focus on an object based on the acquired image. The focus control section performs focus control based on a bright spot-suppressed image.
