APPARATUS FOR GRANULATION OF MELTING SLAG

PURPOSE: A molten slag granulation apparatus is provided to prevent the re-fusion of the slag particles in a granulation process by guiding the slag particles to the lower part after being cooled in a rotary drum unit. CONSTITUTION: A molten slag granulation apparatus(100) comprises a rotary disc unit(101), a rotary drum unit*(102), and a jetting nozzle unit(103). The rotary disc unit converts falling molten slag(10) into slag particles(20), and scatters the slag particles. The rotary drum unit is separately placed from both sides of the rotary disc unit. The rotary drum unit moves the slag particles to the lower part by colliding with the slag particles from the rotary disc unit. The jetting nozzle unit is placed toward the rotary drum unit, and jets a mixed gas of cooling water and compressed air to the rotary drum unit.
